Stanice Anderson Domestic Violence Survivors of the world UNITE and fall down on our knees to pray for those of us still unempowered to get a jolt of God’s empowering love and get free!!!!!!!! Before this Domestic Violence Awareness Month has come and gone, let us yell out from our hearts, minds, and spirits. With a voice not heard by man but God. One spiritual voice loud enough to shake what ordinarily cannot be shaken and open the doors in the Heavenly places where VICTORY is born. No matter, where you are, time zone, country, state, city, doesn’t matter. We are about to do something beyond what the natural can understand. Though the times and places are different, I’m believing that our voice will be collected and heard at the same time; for it is our heart set that matters here. Womens lives, including their children and those in their charge, will be saved and you, my friend are about to be a part of the solution. LORD, HELP US!
On water-walking faith, we arise to you Heavenly Father, in one accord, REBUKE the abusers, and SET FREE the captives. Set them free from the verbal, physical, emotional and psychological bondage. Free from their captors and free from themselves. Empower them and grant them the wisdom to seek your face, guidance and BREAK FREE. Your Word say, He who You set free is free indeed. Amen. So be it!
My precious, sistahs, you don’t have to live like that anymore. God has marvelous plans for your lives and your children’s lives. Don’t take my word for it go to Jeremiah 29:11-14. Don’t have a Bible on you, go to http://www.BibleGateway.com and search. Read then pray God’s Word back to Him. “God you said…” Believe and walk out on that Promise. Those of us who have survived, love you–sight unseen–and are praying for you. That God will do for you what He has done for us. Set us free from the bondage to any man and healed us, the once brokenhearted. And the bonus, granted us joy where there was soooo much pain–a future and a hope.

Perhaps, you’ve never experienced someone holding you hostage, I pray not; but captors have many faces and names. What do I mean? What has held or is holding you hostage? Cigarettes, bad relationships, inertia, low-self esteem, sex, pornography, chocolate, work, alcohol, illegal drugs, your past, prescription drugs, unforgiveness, resentments?
Listen and try to relate to the feelings, as I read a portion of my story, In The Lion’s Den. One of over 40 true life-stories included in my memoir, I Say A Prayer For Me: One Woman’s Life of Faith and Triumph (Walk Worthy Press/Warner Books). Perhaps, we are more alike than different.
