Let’s Go To PRINT PARTY was G-O-O-D!

District 51 and Shout Glory LLC presented Stanice Anderson’s Let’s Go To PRINT PARTY, Sunday, July 25^th at Liv (The BREAkFAST kLUB) on 11^th & U St., NW (atop the historic Bohemian Caverns), Washington, DC

We made our way to the venue in a thunderSTORM. Wow, it was intense! Had to pull over a couple of times. I thought I saw super cells trying to form into funnels. Too many "storm chaser" shows? It was scary. Found out later, there WAS a tornado watch in affect. I’m sure it had an impact on people’s decisions to come to the event. But still quite a few, braved the elements; or like me didn’t know there was a tornado watch. So, those that didn’t make it, you were there in spirit! My prayer was for everyone to be safe.

We had a great time. I performed with all my heat like it was a crowd of thousands. Thank you, Thank you for coming! God blessed us, indeed! I’ll post photos later.

I was tearing up by the 3rd photo. I love how God does a thing! I’ve been struggling so hard since before the year came in. So much pain (with double knee surgery and all) and yet through it all, I see the light of God present in me and in the day and in each of you that came out to support me. Nothing stopped us from walking on water! Now, I’m straight up crying. Might as well get a "Praise God from whom all blessings flow up in here." THANK YOU, JESUS!!! I’m doing better than I know.

A Thin Line Between Love & Hate: Domestic Violence & Beyond

Domestic Violence Awareness Experience/Workshop

This event is FREE. Please come out if you are in an abusive relationship, not sure if you are in an abusive relationship, know someone who is in an abusive relation or don’t know anyone who is in an abusive relationship. This is going to be such a crucial and freeing interactive experience. God will meet us within each minute.

I suggest to, if you are in the Washington, DC area and can attend or you are not in the DC area or for any other reason you can not attend, please listen to last Sunday’s radio show on the same topic: A Thin Line Between Love and Hate: Domestic Violence and Beyond. It will bless you, educate you, and in some cases set you free!

Guest included, Queen Afi Gaston, who is coordinating this weeks workshop at Johnson Memorial Baptist Church; Carolyn Washington, Founder & CEO of Sisters 4 Sisters, Inc., who host the yearly event, Silent Tears, and special call-in is Omie Brown, my pastor and best friend since kids. Who I Am

I'm an author, inspirational speaker, vocalist, and performance artist. I was a heroin addict saved from myself and the lifestyle (with all the pain that comes with it) but the mercy and grace of God. Thus, I am a late bloomer; but blooming none-the-less. I've yielded every talent given me, and am now using them to encourage, inspire, and motivate others to discover and lives God's marvelous plans for their lives. I also perform a one-woman show with comedy infused throughout. It's who I am--by God's grace--one woman on a journey toward unwavering faith.
